Hi Folks, Welcome to my Place. The words that came back from the Moon on that first landing, "TRANQUILITY BASE HERE, THE EAGLE HAS LANDED" were awesome and the name of the place became the name of my place. Tranquility means Peaceful and that's the way things are here at the center of my universe. We live in a very peaceful spot, and we're very happy to be here in Canada. We moved from South Africa in 1975, lived in Toronto for four years then moved to BC in 1979. I started work on arrival as a Plastics Fabricator in a small Company, ASI Plastics, and it was a long and happy association. Acrylic "offcuts" saved from the re-cyle bin started me off on my carving hobby. There are photos of some of my carvings on the portfolio page I hope you enjoy them, although the pictures do not do them justice, they really need to be hugged to be appreciated properly..
